40 years of The Sun... The 'Biggest Pub Quiz Ever'

40 years of The Sun... The 'Biggest Pub Quiz Ever'

In celebration of 40 years of The Sun, and in aid of Help for Heroes, NI Commercial held the 'Biggest Pub Quiz Ever' to find The Sun’s Brainiest Quiz Team.

350 media and marketing folk, along with The Sun's Editorial team and NI Commercial staff got together this Tuesday night for this big birthday bash hosted by Paul Hayes and Dominic Mohan and presented by celebrity quiz master Justin Lee Collins.

No pub was big enough for this iconic night of celebration so London's biggest brewery hosted the event - the old Whitbread Brewery in Barbican.

Following the sections of The Sun, from famous front covers to sport, the quiz covered the depth and breadth of the paper. Gordon Smart in a double act with JLC hosted the Bizarre section getting members of the audience more involved than they had expected.

There were some fabulous prizes to be won and a £10,000 charity donation on behalf of the winning team.

Walker Media walked away with the grand prize package - a box at the O2 to see Bon Jovi, Ipods, Sun T-Shirts and most importantly a £5,000 donation made on their behalf to Help for Heroes and £5,000 to their charity of choice.

The prize was presented to Graham Fisher (Associate Director of Walker Media) and team by Paul Hayes and Dominic Mohan.
