NI Commercial in Ireland scooped another prestigious honour at Ireland’s inaugural Media Awards which took place on March 31 at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin.
The gold medal was awarded for Best Sales Initiative Over 100k for the team's work on Ford Fiesta at an event attended by agencies, clients and media owners. The campaign was created and managed by the client team, Emma Dunn and Siobhan Lennon, in partnership with Ford Ireland and Mindshare and was their first ever bespoke style shoot in collaboration with colleagues in the UK.
The team did a fantastic job beating RTE TV, UTV Radio Sales and TV3 for the top award in a hotly contested category where they also had two other campaigns shortlisted.
Speaking after the win, Emma Dunn, Head of Planning and Strategy commented: “We are really proud to win this award and to win against other big media owners is a testament to the strength of our thinking and the power of our brands in the Irish media space.”
Siobhan Lennon, Head of Client Services, commented: “The success of this campaign was based on the overall cooperation and collaboration of creative, media agency, client, ourselves and campaign management in News International UK. All these elements helped bring it to fruition. That was a real first!”
