Fabulous scooped two major gongs at the British Society of Magazine Editors Awards last night.

Fabulous magazine editor Rachel Richardson won New Editor of the Year, while Mark Hayman was named Art Director of the Year for his design of The Sun’s Saturday magazine.

Rachel, who was also highly commended in the Editor of the Year (Newspaper Magazines & Current Affairs) category, was recognised for her talent at getting celebrity exclusives, innovative real life and lifestyle features and Mark's gong was in recognition of his re-design of the magazine, in particular his work on producing show-stopping covers.

Rachel said after receiving the gong at the event in London's Hilton hotel: "I'm over the moon to be honoured in two tough categories. And was thrilled to take a trophy home.

"I'm fortunate to work with a fantastic team, who make my job easy."

Mark said: "I'm delighted to be recognised by my peers."
