Britain's favourite fashion magazine Fabulous will become a permanent part of The Saturday Sun from this Saturday 16 July.
Fabulous, which won Supplement of the Year at this year’s British Press Awards, came free with the News of the World until the paper ceased production on Sunday.
The top glossy fashion title will now be included in The Sun every Saturday and will sit alongside TV and entertainment title buzz. The paper also features football pull-out SuperGoals, which will return in August for the start of the football season.
Fabulous was launched in 2008 and has been a fantastic commercial success story, attracting valuable younger female readers into the newspaper category.
Joely Carey, Editorial Director of Fabulous Magazine, said: “Since we launched in 2008, Fabulous has been a runaway success - both editorially and commercially.
“We have built ourselves an enviable position in the market as the leading high street fashion magazine, attracting premium advertisers and 5.5 million readers every week.
“This excellence was recognised by the industry this year when we won Supplement of the Year at the British Press Awards. We look forward to continuing this success as part of The Saturday Sun.”
Rachel Richardson, Editor of Fabulous Magazine, said: “It has been an extremely tough week for everyone here but we’re delighted that Fabulous Magazine will live on.
“We have a very loyal and engaged readership who have been sending us their messages of goodwill all week and we are really looking forward to welcoming them to our new home in The Saturday Sun.”
