News International titles have more then 50 nominations for this year’s prestigious Press Awards.

  

The shortlists were revealed today and The Times leads the way with 24 nominations. The Sunday Times has 17 and The Sun 10.

Winners will be announced at a dinner at the Lancaster London Hotel at Lancaster Gate on March 7.

NI journalists shortlisted are:

    Young Journalist of the YearRachel Dale (Sun).

    Business and Finance Journalist of the Year: Simon Duke (Sunday Times).

    Foreign Reporter of the Year: Marie Colvin (Sunday Times) and Hala Jaber (Sunday Times).

    Sports Journalist of the Year: Mike Atherton (Times), Simon Barnes (Times) and David Walsh (Sunday Times).
