SunTalk to do 9 hour shows for the World Cup

From June 7, the show will start at 10am and will run until 7pm.  Sponsored by Stan James bookmakers, the extended show will also feature new presenters for the five weeks around the World Cup.

Resident presenter Jon Gaunt will continue in his usual slot from 10am until 1pm after which author Martel Maxwell will take over until 4pm.  Gordon Smart, Bizarre editor, will be on the mic from 4pm until 5pm before handing over to Terry Christian and former footballer and manager, Ron Atkinson, who will host “The Stan James World Cup Show” for the final two hours.

The Stan James activity was booked direct and includes branded jingles, online branding with links to StanJames.com, special offers for SunTalk listeners, a 20-minute daily segment in the Jon Gaunt Show, and promotion in the newspaper where logos support the show.

The culmination of the extended shows will be a “World Cup Final Special” on Sunday, July 11, and a full day of broadcasting on Monday, July 12.
